Indore: Mahila Police booked four persons for harassing a 30-year-old woman and demanding dowry of Rs 2 lakh in Musakhedi area on Wednesday. According to police, victim Manju Jagriya said she was married to Tulsiram Jagriya on April 18, 2018. After 15 days of marriage, her husband and family members Arjun, Heerala and Keshav started demanding Rs 2 lakh as dowry.
On refusing, the accused started mentally harassing the victim. The victim claimed that the accused also tried to force her to drink kerosene and threatened to throw acid on her face. if she did not bring Rs 2 lakh. The scared victim reported the incident to police following which a case was registered against the accused.
