Indore: Indore Sahodaya Schools Complex (ISSC) will hold its fourth, two-day regional conference for educators at a local hotel on January 15-16 from 9 am to 5 pm. Challenges faced by educationists, schools and students will be discussed and experts will suggest corrective measures at the conference.
Making an announcement to this effect, Indore Sahodaya Schools Complex chairperson ISSC Mohit Yadav told mediapersons on Wednesday that education system and school requirements have undergone changes in last few years. “These changes are inclusion of job oriented courses and technical aspects in education. We have been working on adoption of these changes and putting them into practice,” he said.
The theme of conference is, ‘Education for future – Future of education’. Following the theme, new policies of education and their effects will be discussed in detail. The conference is organised once in four years in which subject experts from across the country will take part.
Among those who will participate include CBSE school principals who will discuss various aspects of future pertaining to school education. In all, 300 hundred principals will take part in this regional conference including those from Chennai, Hyderabad, Bihar, Maharashtra and Delhi.
“In addition to main theme, sub themes like, ‘Curriculum for next generation’, ‘Technology for future education’, ‘Emotional hygiene’, ‘Principals of next generation’, ‘Compliances with new age principals’ and ‘Role of teachers 20 years ahead’ will be discussed,” Yadav said. Experts of each field will give suggestions and guidance on how to get ready for coming changes.
Dr Rajesh Awasthi will be convenor of the conference.
