Jhabua: Last week district collector Chandra Shekhar did surprise inspection of the district hospital and also gave necessary suggestions regarding the improvement in various wards to the civil surgeon Dr RC Kaushal but in vain. As nothing has been done yet, everything is as usual the dirty surroundings, mismanagement no improvement was made.

District in-charge minister Antar Singh Arya was in the city for the meeting of district planning committee and thus he surprisingly went to inspect the district hospital on Monday morning. He also expressed dissatisfaction on the arrangements of the hospital and gave final warning to the surgeons, hospital staff and medical officer that if he heard any complaint about the negligence of the hospital then a strict action would be taken against the guilty and no one would be spared.

During the inspection, minister Arya checked the attendance register and got shocked as more than 90 percent of the staff was absent. He saw the signatures of only two doctors i.e. Dr BS Baghel and Dr Bamaniya, irked at the same minister Arya, himself marked the absence of other staff. He also directed to take action against the absent doctors.
As he inspected burn unit, he found that the air conditions were still not working; he immediately directed to install ACs. He assured the residents that now the condition and management of the hospital would improve soon.
