Indore : Based on their scores in the Common Admission Test (CAT)-2015 and past academic records, as many as 4974 candidates have been short-listed by the Indian Institute of Management Indore for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) to be conducted for granting admissions in postgraduate programme (PGP) in management.
Replying to an RTI application, IIM-Indore on Tuesday said that invites have been sent to the short-listed candidates for WAT and PI.
“Based on their performances in WAT and PI, as many as 450 candidates will be selected for admissions in PGP course offered by IIM-Indore,” IIM-Indore media in-charge, Dr Akhtar Parvez said.
Initially, as many as 153127 candidates had shown interest in the PGP course of IIM-Indore but based on their CAT scores the premier institute short-listed 13890 candidates at the first stage of the selection process.
After going through their past academic records, the institute brought down the short-list to 4974 candidates.
These 4974 candidates will now have to appear for WAT and PI. On the basis of their performances in WAT and PI, the institute will select the top 450 candidates for admission in the PGP course.
