Indore : After witnessing a political drama and putting an end to it, urban administration and development minister Kailash Vijayvargiya said that it was the pollution in the city politics and he cleaned the environment if Indore Municipal Corporation on World Environment Day.While addressing Madhya Pradesh Environment Award Ceremony on Thursday, Vijayvargiya said sorry for coming late in the programme and said “I was busy in cleaning the environment of IMC and was trying to remove the pollution from city politics.”
Coming back to the topic of environment, Vijayvargiya said people believe that nature is our mother but they are not behaving like a son.
“Sages in our country call human as the son of the nature but we are not loving the nature as mother but causes pollution and it become a global concern now,” the UAD Minister said.
The award in the category of highest polluting industry was given to M/s Vikram Cement Works, Khor in Neemuch district with the prize money of Rs 1.5 lakh.
Award for general polluting industry was given to M/s Cipla Ltd, Pithampur, Dhar with price money of Rs 1 lakh.
The award for mining industry and small scale industry were given to M/s Kurja Sital, Anooppur and M/s Kasoma Biochem Pvt Ltd, Pithampur, Dhar respectively.
Awards to the drawing competition and photograph competition were also given.
