Burhanpur : District Collector JP Aairin Sindhiya visited Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru stadium on Wednesday and inspected the preparations of Independence Day’s function which is to be held on 15th August at 9 am at the stadium premises.
She along with SP Anil Singh Kushwaha examined the final rehearsals of the parade and cultural programs that are to be held on Independence Day. And also took the information regarding the order and timeliness of programs and activities. She instructed officers to have all the preparations regarding the arrangements to be completed on time.
Collector also visited Collectorate Office Building at 3 pm and inspected the complex. During which she took the information regarding the departments operating from Joint Office. She instructed officers to maintain the maintenance of the building properly and to put all the notice boards at the proper places.
Additional Collector Prakash Rewal, ASP BS Shinde, DEO RL Upadhayay and others were present on this inspection.
Independence Day function will be held at the Stadium premises in which Chief Guest District Collector will hoist the National Flag and will take salute of the Independence Day parade. After which she will read out Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan’s speech directed towards the people of the state. Singing of National Anthem on the tune of a band will also take place after the hoisting of the National Flag. During the function Pigeons and Ballons will be released in the sky. Chief Guest will also felicitate the family members of freedom fighters and martyrs of Kargil War. School children will present cultural and patriotic programs on this occasion.
Khargone: Cultural and Patriotic programs on Independence Day will be held at DRP Line situated at Sanawad road. Chief Guest Collector In-Charge Narendra Kumar Suryavanshi will hoist the flag. Students of various schools will perform cultural programs on this occasion. Barrier race will be held at Agricultural Produce Market. Police have increased the surveillance at the major spots of the city.
Meghnagar: The venue of public flag hoisting on Independence Day has been shifted to Dashahara Ground from Bus stand. Last five days no rain falling has given way to the ceremony to be held at dried Dahshara Ground. All official buildings and government schools will be decorated with lightning on the eve of Independence Day. Students from educational institute will carry out a morning procession and reach to the ground passing from all city squares. Janpad President Ramesh Damor will read out CM’s message at morning 9. Students from Kanya Higher secondary school will present National anthem on the occasion. Independence day celebration will take place at various places in the city including village panchayat office, educational centers and journalist union office. It will be celebrated by social unions and all citizens.
