Human chain formed on International Anti-war Day

Indore : Members of Akhil Bharatiya Shanti Evam Ekjutta Sangathan formed a human chain on ‘International Anti-war Day’ at Regal Square, on Monday evening. The protest saw people from all walks of life raised placards laying stress on demilitarisation and disarmament to avoid devastation caused by war. They also urged the nations to reduce their defence spending. Israel-Palestine conflict and the destructive forces of terrorism and insurgency prevalent in countries like Syria, Iraq, Libya, etc were slammed. Former MP Kalyan Jain, Perin Daji, Rambabu Agrawal, Shyamsundar Yadav, Alok Khare, Manisha Gaud, Dr Savita Inamdar, Pushpa Sinha, Rudrapal Yadav, Vasant Shintre, Dr Nizamuddin, Dr Anil Bhandari and other prominent citizens took part in the human chain.
