Indore : Member of Mayor-in-Council (MiC) of Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC), Suraj Kero failed to obtain bail from Indore bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court in connection with Meghdoot Garden scam case on Thursday. The hearing on his bail application was deferred for next four days when a person requested the court to allow him to file his objection on Kero’s application. Counsel of Kero, Vivek Patwa said they had applied for urgent hearing on Kero’s application for bail but matter could not come on board before second half of Thursday.

“And by the time, the application came on board for hearing, one Hemant Vishwakarma of Bajrang Nagar, lodged an objection on the application requesting the court to allow him to file his objection. To this, the court deferred the hearing for next four days directing Vishwakarma to prepare his objection,” he said. Kero along with nine others was sent to jail on Monday by a special court in connection with Rs 34 lakh Meghdoot Garden scam case. Kero had filed a bail application before HC.
