Indore : District Health Department has served notices to 11 Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTP) centres for not providing the data online.

Department has given a week’s time to the centre owners for providing the data online and also cautioned to cancel their licenses.

However, avoiding the notice, some of the MTP centre coordinators refused to provide the data online. “Some of the centre coordinators have replied to the department for not providing the data online and also told them to cancel their license,” department sources said. Chief Medical and Health Official Dr Mahesh Malviya said, “We have served them notices on the basis of PCPNDT Act and Nursing Act. If they fail to give satisfactory reply, we will cancel their licenses.”
