BHOPAL: The High Court on Wednesday rejected the anticipatory bail plea of mining baron Sudhir Sharma. Bhopal district and sessions court had rejected the anticipatory bail of Sharma, who was earlier declared an absconder in the Vyapam scam. Deputy advocate general Purushaindra Kauravsaid,”Anticipatory bail of Sudhir Sharma has been rejected by the High Court.”

Madhya Pradesh police’s Special Task Force has already announced a reward of Rs 5,000 on the information leading to the arrest of Sharma, who is known to be a close associate of arrested former minister Laxmikant Sharma.

JMFC Manoj Tiwari had declared him an absconder and STF already started process of property attachment. Now, Sharma will move Supreme Court in this regard.
