Goon attacks man with acid, sets vehicles on fire

Indore : A goon attacked a man with acid and then torched several two-wheelers parked outside his home on Monday night. The attack was a result of some disputes. Police have registered a case and are investigating.

According to the police, Mayank Agarwal, a resident of Nanda Nagar Janta Quarters, is a computer operator in a newspaper office.

On Monday midnight, he was returning home after work when the accused, a resident of Nehru Nagar, stopped him at Patnipura Square and threw acid on him.

Agarwal escaped unhurt and reached home. He parked his two-wheeler and went to his apartment on the first floor.

Around 4 am on Tuesday, the accused returned and this time torched Agarwal’s vehicle. The fire later engulfed vehicle of Agarwal’s neighbour Punnu.
