Indore : Two persons robbed a gas agency salesman of his money and mobile phone on Friday. The accused had called the victim first on his phone and asked for his location, reached the spot and forced him into an auto-rickshaw. They robbed him while driving him around in an auto-rickshaw.
According to Aerodrome police, the robbery occurred on Friday afternoon. Parmanand (35), a resident of Virat Nagar, is employed with Pagare Gas Agency.
Parmanand had gone to Sangam Nagar to deliver LPG cylinders on Friday afternoon when he received a call on his mobile phone.
The caller asked Parmanand where he was and he told the caller that he was in Shubham Palace in Sangam Nagar. A little later, an auto-rickshaw showed up with two men sitting in the rear seat.
Brandishing a knife, they forced Parmanad to get into the auto-rickshaw and then drove around the colony. The two accused took Rs 2100 which Parmanand had on his person along with his mobile phone.
Later, Parmanand managed to jump off the auto and escaped. He reached home, collected his wits and then went to police station around 8:00 pm to file the complaint. The police have registered cases against two unknown accused and are investigating the matter.
