Gandhwani: Stones pelted on polling party, workers injured, FIR against 60

Three polling personnel were severely injured and many were saved and brought to the Community Health Center Gandhwani for treatment.

Gandhwani (Madhya Pradesh): A bus and two SUVs belonging to a polling party were attacked, injuring a presiding officer and two polling personnel here in Gandhwani on Friday night after the completion of the counting process.

As many as 60 people have been booked following the attack on the bus and two Bolero SUVs.

In another incident, in Alwada Mann, a car was vandalised outside the polling station. Additionally, the victory celebrations in Garhwal village were pelted with stones by the losing party. Three polling personnel were severely injured and many were saved and brought to the Community Health Center Gandhwani for treatment.

On being informed, the collector, SP and police force reached the spot and took the situation under control. Station in-charge Ram Singh Rathod stated that the attackers have been identified and FIRs have been registered against them.
