Indore : With the demand to increase their salary, the Food Safety Officers of the state has declared a strike till March 10 on Tuesday.

The sudden strike by the food safety officers will increase the chances of selling of adulterated food products in the market in this festive season as the food safety officers will not work for more than week. State vice president of Food Safety Officers Cadre Association Manish Swami said that they are demanding salary hike from more than two years but their request has been falling in deaf ears.

“Our salary is even less then the clerk in our office. We have also submitted various memorandums to our seniors but in vain.
