Indore: The Indore Bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court on Monday gave relief to seven doctors against whom a case of fraud was registered at Chandan Nagar police station. The court issued stay on their arrest till October 31.

Hearing on the petition for anticipatory bail of these doctors took place in the court of Justice Waghmare on Monday. The court gave relief to the doctors as no documents were seized from them. As no case file was presented before the court due to which the court will take the decision on their anticipatory bail in the next hearing.

The doctors who got relief are: Joint Director Dr Sharad Pandit, Civil Surgeon Dr SK Trivedi, former Civil Surgeon Dr AP Srivastava, Dr AD Bhatnagar, Dr N Joshi, Dr P Joshi and Dr RP Verma.

It is to be noted that a case of fraud under IPC Section 420 was registered as Chandan Nagar police station after the complaint of Assistant Commandant ( 1st Bn) RS Bhadoria. He lodged a complaint that the doctors have manipulated the medical report to favour a candidate.
