Indore : For smooth flow of traffic in Smart City, construction of elevated bridges and Metro Train are necessary. Several futuristic suggestions were given by members of Yeshwant Club here on Saturday.
Mayor Malini Gaud and IMC Commissioner Manish Singh gave a power point presentation to the YC members on Saturday.
Savyasachi Mishra suggested that the BRTS should be uprooted and in place of this an elevated bridge and Metro train should be introduced for smooth traffic and public transport system.
Ram Airen suggested that left turns should be made easy. Vidhyanand Puranik laid stress on hawkers zone.
The IMC commissioner said that the suggestions of the YC members would be examined and if possible they would be included in the final presentation which would be made before the Union Urban Development Ministry.
He also praised the Ministry for making clause to incorporate the local people in offering the suggestion for making the city smart. After get selected in top 100 cities for smart city, now there is competition for get selected in the final 20 cities.
