The day celebrated as International Nurses Day at Nursing College 

Jhabua: The International Nurses Day celebrated at local Maa Tripura Nursing College here on Tuesday. Principal of the college Alpit Gandhi informed that on this day Florence Nightingale was born in the year 1820. Nightingale’s birth-anniversary is being observed as Nursing Day across the world.

Principal Gandhi further said that Nightingale had passed away on August 13, 1910. To mark the day, a grand function was organised in the college. Chief guest of the programme was Ranapur BMO Dr Usha Gehlot. The guests lighted the lamp and garlanded the portrait of Goddess Saraswati. The Nursing students took oath to serve humanity and work for mankind. The students presented various cultural programmes also. The programme was conducted by Shradhha Jadhav and Gajendra Charpota. The entire programme was organised by all the students of the college successfully.
