Indore : On the second day of the 27th Annual Convention of All India Management Schools, national and international educationists and Management Gurus discussed about the management in profession and life. The experts also discussed about the environmental changes and the management mantra to save the environment and the future generation.
During the initial session of the day, Director of Strategic Alliances, Peregrine Academic Services, United States Dr William S Parrot, shared his views about skill upgradation in Management Education. The session was chaired by Prof. J Philip who enlightened the audience about the renovation in current education.
Global Organic Textile Standards, Mumbai, Sumit Gupta explained sustainability model and shared his views on environmental Management and social management through various examples related to organic industry.
Dr Janak Palta discussed about the importance of solar energy and shared her views about how she overcame the difficulties in her project for the development of rural women working with them. She also described about Barli Development Institute for Rural Women.
Dr PN Mishra shared some of the teaching examples from the Bhagwat Geeta and related it to the present context. In his interactive session, he discussed about the difference in the standard of American Management Education and Indian Management Education.
Professor S Sood and RP Gautam talked about success and failure with reference to new paradigm in management education with the help of MBO and HRM models.
