Indore : An engineering student from Lasudia area hanged himself and died on Tuesday. The reason behind the suicide was not known but it was reported that he took the extreme step over a love interest’s estrangement.
According to Lasudia police, the incident occurred in Space Park. Sachin Tiwari, a 27-year-old engineering student staying in a flat in the township, hanged himself and died on the intervening night of Monday-Tuesday. On Tuesday, a friend of his reached his place and found him hanging from the ceiling. She immediately informed the police.
Investigation Officer Raghuvir Meena informed that Tiwari was a native of Uttar Pradesh and was pursuing BE from a city college. In primary investigation, it emerged that he was distressed because his love interest had found a suitor. Police are investigating the matter.
Another youth hangs self
Saurabh Pal (25), a resident of Kannu Patel chawl under MIG police station, hanged himself in the bathroom of his house. SI SD Shukla informed that Pal was unemployed. He reached home on Tuesday evening and took the extreme step. The incident came to fore when a family member of his opened the bathroom door. Pal was found hanging from the ceiling. He was immediately taken to the hospital but he could not be saved. Police are trying to find out the reason behind the suicide.
