Indore : The deadly swine flu claimed two more lives, including a 23-year-old engineering student in the city, on Sunday. With this, the death toll crossed 120.
However, the Health Department officials said that the killer disease claimed 94 lives so far as no new reports were received on Sunday.
According to acting Dean Dr Sanjay Dixit, two deceased included a 42-year-old male of Ujjain and a 23-year-old male of Indore. Both the patients died in private hospitals of the city.
“One of the deceased was suspected and other was confirmed Till Sunday, a total of 70 patients have been admitted in various hospitals of the city including 14 in MY Hospital. No patient in MY Hospital is critical,” Dr Dixit added. The 23-year-old patient on Indore is identified as Vishal a student of Truba Engineering College. He was admitted to the hospital on March 4.
