Indore : Encroachment on ITI land has been proved but it’s not known the quantum of land occupied by encroachers. On Wednesday, the demarcation team led by Superintendent of Land Records (SLR) Anil Banwaria completed demarcation work, which was began on Tuesday.

Banwaria said that the team took help of Total Station Machine (TSM) and Google Map during demarcation work. The team also sought the layout plan from residents of Jai Ambe Nagar and Prime City, which carries the lay out plan of the colonies.

Banwaria further said that it’s difficult to say how much land was encroached.  But, it’s proved beyond doubt that a large portion of the land of Industrial Training Institute was under encroachment. Now, the team, which carried out the demarcation work, will prepare a report and submit the same it to Collector Akash Tripathi, on Thursday.

After that the quantum of encroached land will be disclosed.

The team was conduction demarcation of IT land following the instruction of Commissioner Sanjay Dubey, who was asked by the high court to conduct such thing and take appropriate decision on Jai Ambe Nagar and Prime City. It is alleged that both colonies are developed on the ITI land.
