‘Diwali time for Nagda labourers’: Minister Gaur

Nagda : ‘Happiness has knocked at the doors of the laborers of Bharat Commerce Industry, which was shut down years ago. The laborers will get Rs 29 crore worth cheques due to constant attempts of Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS), which is an ideal organization fighting for welfare of the laborers for years with full dedication.’

Addressing as the chief guest of the programme organized by BMS, the state home minister Babulal Gaur expressed his view about the organization and its success in the form of cheques distribution to the laborers. The cheque distribution programme was organized at municipal corporation community hall on Saturday. Through his addressal before hundreds of laborers and other guests, minister Gaur said that after 15 years passing since the closing of the industry, its ecstasy to see the laborers receiving cheques of their hard labor price. It is ground level fight and laws abide strides of the union that as many as 1,800 laborers are going to get their claim amount cheques.

Presiding over the programme, BMS president Sultan Singh Shekhawat in his addressal detailed about the attempts to get the amount going through law and other forces. He said that industry was shut illegally in June 2000. It is result of 15-year long honest fight of the union, that the laborers are getting such a big amount.

Addressing in his conventional style as the chief guest, the central social justice and empowerment minister Thawar Chand Gehlot said that the industry was shut down under a conspiracy of the management even after it was gaining profit. He said that under the reign of Prime Minister Modi, laborers’ friendly schemes are being brought into existence.

MP Chintaman Malviya, Alot MLA Jitendra Gehlot, Nagda-Khachrod MLA Dilip Shekhawat, BMS’s national minister Krishnapal Singh, Upper labor commissioner R C Pandey and many others were present during the programme.
