Dispute over BRTS bottleneck portion resolved

Indore : The important issue of widening of bottleneck portion of the BRTS is resolved. Now, the portion— LIG Square to Palasia—would be widened from the present 36 meters to 60 meters. The affected dwellers have given their consent for widening of the road.

The district administration called a meeting with the affected residents on Saturday at his office where members of the Baheti, Sahar family and representatives of CHL Hospital and two others were present.

IMC Commissioner Manish Singh, IDA CEO Rakesh Singh and CEO of AICTSL Sandeep Soni were also present.

Talking to Free Press, Collector P Narahari said that the residents have agreed to the widening plan.

Now the BRTS at this portion would be widened to 60 meters from the existing 36 meters. Now, the administration, IMC and IDA would work out the plan of widening of that portion.
