Sardarpur (Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh): The police here on Tuesday arrested two persons and recovered gold, silver jewellery, they had robbed from people.
Sardarpur police station incharge Abhinav Shukla said accused Shivraj Singh, 20 and Sunil, 20, Bherulal, 48, all residents of Bhopawar, have been arrested. Another accused Kanhaiya, resident Bhopawar, is on the run.
Shukla said accused had robbed a woman and her son on May 29 when they were going on a Scooty after assaulting them. Honda Shine bike (MP 11 MM 1562) and another one Honda Shine without number used in the loot, a pair of gold earrings, one gas cylinder, 4 pairs of silver toe rings and Rs 4,000, all worth, Rs 1.50 lakh were seized from the accused.
Superintendent of Police Aditya Pratap Singh has announced a reward for police team that traced accused within 36 hours of the incident.
