He said that the decision on the exam-2012, paper of which was leaked, will be taken within a week.

According to sources, the STF in its report has stated that about 20 candidates have received leaked paper ahead of the exam.

Around 1,160 candidates had cleared the civil service commission exam-2012 and qualified for the interview round.

The MPPSC was to conduct interviews from July 30, 2014 but in the first week of July, a gang involved in paper leak cases was busted in Delhi and its members admitted to have leaked paper of MPPSC-2012 as well. Following the news, the MPPSC had suspended the interviews.

While the candidates who could not clear the exam-2012 are demanding to cancel it, the candidates qualified for interview round are saying that only those who received the leaked paper should be disqualified and not all should be victimised for a mistake of a few persons.

Some aggrieved candidates had moved petitions in Principal bench of MPHC in turn had directed STF to submit its final report in MPPSC within 120 days and subsequently instructed MPPSC to take decision on the fate of the exam.

Following the orders, the STF had submitted its final report within the stipulated time limit and now the ball is in MPPSC’s court.
