Indore : Family members of a builder got the shock of their life when they found a dead lizard and frog in a branded flour packet. The family is planning to lodge a complaint to the Food Safety Department.
According to Vijay Singh Tomar, a resident of LIG, he purchased his monthly grocery in June first week from Viashali Kirana store located in LIG. Among other things, he purchased Silvercoin atta packets. On Sunday, when one atta packet was opened, the family was shocked to find a dead lizard and a frog in the flour.
He said even branded companies lacked in quality control and he wanted to file a complaint on Monday morning with the Consumer Forum and with officials of the Food and Drug Administration.
