Dewas: The district administration has lifted the curfew from City’s Khari Bawali area from Tuesday. After this, local residents felt shy of relief.
It is to be noted that after some communal violence on Januray 16, the administration had Imposed curfew at Khari Bawali area, which was the most affected area of the communal violence. After imposing the curfew, the district administration controlled the situation.
On Tuesday, the district collector Ashutosh Awasthi reviewed the and situation and decided to lift the curfew in violence affected Khari Bawali area of Dewas. District administration informed that Section 144 will continue till month end.
