Indore : A local court rejected the bail application of Inspector Abhinav Shukla and sent him to jail for allegedly delivering illegal pistol to a police constable.
He was nabbed along with constable of Mandsaur Vinod Namdeo and driver Shailendra by the Palasia police on October 10 and produced before the court on Wednesday. Shukla is currently posted at PHQ, Bhopal and his family members are staying in Vandana Nagar, Indore. He was arrested by Palasia police while delivering a pistol to constable Namdeo.
Advocate NS Sheikh said that the bail application of Shukla was rejected by the court. He was sent to jail.
