Later, Shukla burnt the effigy of Tandon and said that he would blacken Tandon’s face if he visits Indore- I constituency. Shukla wanted to contest election on Congress ticket from Indore- I but when the party denied ticket to him, he claimed that the ticket was sold by Tandon. He also made remarks against the MPCC chief.

Taking a note of his utterance and moves, the MPCC sent him a notice saying his acts were found under the purview of ‘ indiscipline’. The party sought his reply within three days. The notice said that onesided action would be taken against him if he failed to file reply within the prescribed time period.
