Indore: The Congress has lodged a complaint with the Election Commission of India regarding missing of names from the voters’ list. The party fears a conspiracy as it believes most of the names were from the Congress- backed areas. The Congress lodged a written complaint with the EC regarding missing names of eligible voters from the voter list on November 25, the polling day.

The party alleges that several voters, who wanted to exercise their franchise ended up wandering here and there with their Epic card in search of their names in the list. Congress spokesperson Narendra Saluja said it’s a part of a large conspiracy as most of the names missing from the areas were from Congress areas. There were thousands of complaints of missing names in the voters list across nine constituencies received by the Congress workers during the poll period. The party demanded the EC to look into the matter.
