Indore: The Congress has raised questions over presence of State Women’s Commission ( SWC) member Kavita Patidar during the rally of BJP candidate from Mhow and Industries Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya.

Patidar, who was once a strong contender for candidature from Mhow constituency, is daughter of former minister Bherulal Patidar. It is believed that Vijayvargiya played a big role in making her a member of the SWC. Congress spokesperson Narendra Saluja informed media persons that membership of the State Women’s Commission is a constitutional post and no member should participate in any political activity, yet Patidar not only took part in the rally but also climbed the stage on Friday when Vijayvargiya took out a rally to file his nomination from Mhow. The Congress has sent a complaint to the Election Commission in this regard.
