Indore : Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr Ashok Dagaria served show cause notices to a hospital and a diagnostic centre on Wednesday. The notice to the hospital has been sent for not managing the biomedical waste properly and to the diagnostic centre for conducting sonography and x-rays without permission.

As per information, CMHO Dr Dagaria has sent notice to Geeta Bhawan Hospital for not managing biomedical waste properly. The action was taken against the hospital after it received a notice from the Pollution Control Board. “CMHO also visited the hospital for inspection and found anomalies in bio-medical waste management,” sources said. They further added that during the inspection of Nidan Diagnostic Centre, located at Sapna Sangeeta Road, it was found that the diagnostic centre owner was conducting X-ray and sonography without permission there.

“Show-cause notices have been served to both and a time of seven days have been given. Action will be taken against them after completion of the deadline,” sources added.
