Indore : The bhoomi pujan of Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences will be performed at Super Corridor on Friday. Chief minister Shivrajsingh Chauhan will be the chief guest of the function. According to official information, UAD minister Kailash Vijayvargiya will be the guest of honor and Mayor Krishna Murari Moghe will also be present at the ceremony. The bhoomi pujan will be held at 11.30 am. Soon after the bhoomi pujan, Chauhan and chairman of Symbiosis group Dr SB Majumdar will address the media.
Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences will be first of its kind skills university in India, based on the German Model of Universities of Applied Sciences. The university will offer competency based degree programmes in high growth sectors of automotive, manufacturing, construction, BFSI, retail, IT and other service sectors. The varsity will blend education and skill-based hands-on training in order to develop skill-based competencies in line with market needs.After this programme, the CM will participate in tree plantation at Super Corridor organised by the IDA. At 2 pm the CM will depart for Mumbai.
According to political sources, Chauhan will meet anguished Mayor Krishna Murari Moghe. They will have in camera meeting. Most possibly this meeting could happen at city airport. In a high voltage drama on Thursday, aggrieved Moghe had resigned from the post but later in evening he withdrew it.
