Indore : Miracles do happen and the incident that occurred near Bada Ganpati was no exception. A truck ran over a motorcycle, crushing it under its heavy wheels and reducing it to mangled mass of metals. However, the rider escaped with minor scratches, though a bit shaken by the incident.
According to the police, the accident occurred around 2.30 am on Sunday near Sitaram Park Colony in Bada Ganpati area. Nemish Dixit (26), a resident of Shikshak Nagar, was retuning home from Rajwada when a truck hit his motorcycle.
Dixit was thrown away and received few scratches, though a bit shaken by the incident. However, his motorcycle was crushed under the heavy wheels of truck.
After the accident, the truck got stuck in a ditch dug up near the road. A police team reached the spot, seized the truck and booked its driver for causing harm by reckless driving.
