Indore : Officials of Kamla Nehru Prani Sanghralaya (City Zoo) are planning to write a letter to the IMC to remove encroachments on the boundary of the zoo between gate no4 and the route towards Navlakha Square. It was said that earlier too they had approached the IMC but in vain.
Zoo in-charge Dr Uttam Yadav said that there were encroachments on the boundary of the zoo and they should be removed at the earliest.
If sources are to be believed cases of anti-social elements entering the zoo premise after getting on the encroachments had come to fore.
When enquired about the same, the IMC officials said that the removal action near the City Zoo would be carried out after the GIS (Global Investors Summit) as their entire concentration is now on the airport and GIS venue route.
The official added that apart from this, the team is also working on the 16km-long route that starts from the city Airport to Rajiv Gandhi Square as several attendees would also visit the Pipliapala Regional Park.
