Dhar: The expenditure by star campaigners on helicopter use, should be added to the expenses accounts of the candidates and if they will not add it, the commission will add their bills in the amount of expenses made by the respective candidates. The collector and district election officer CB Singh gave this direction, on Thursday.

The collector notified this, to the two main candidates of the parliamentary elections BJP’s Savitri Thakur and Congress candidate Umang Singhar. As per his notice, he cautioned them that, if they have mentioned the expenses incurred on the helicopter from the place of starting the journey and arriving in the constituency with its overheads, then they have to inform to the district election office. Otherwise, the election office will add these expenses in their accounts, as per the rules. As it is well known that,both of these candidates have received the campaigning by their party’s star campaigners in the constituency.

Collector CB Singh deputed the ‘district adult education officer Pravin Sharma’ as the incharge of official communication room at the counting venue of the parliamentary polls. The assistant director – PRO Shravan Kumar Singh has been given the charge of media centre.

The collector Singh also informed the media that, the training programme regarding maintenance of accounts of expenditure and their final presentation would be held in the conference-hall of Govt. PG College, on Friday from 3 pm. to 5 pm. Hence, all the candidates or their authorized agents must be present in the training.
