Indore: Deputation of KN Chaturvedi as Exam Controller of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya ( DAVV) is ending in the middle of first semester exams. February 4 will be his last day in the university. When he would bid adieu to this university, the first exam exams starting on January 6 would be midstream.
The university may not want him to leave at that juncture and it may request the Department of Higher Education ( DHE) to give him extension. But before that his wish would also be sought. “ We want Prof Chaturvedi to continue in the position but it’s just not on our will. His and the DHE’s wish is what matters. If he wished to continue with us, the university will send a proposal to the DHE asking to extend his deputation period,” Vice Chancellor Prof DP Singh said.
Chaturvedi duing his one year tenure as exam controller played crucial role in brining derailed semester system on track. When exams were not taking place in time and duration of courses were starching, he was appointed as exam controller in the DAVV. He with the help of deputy registrar Ajay Verma and assistant registrar Rachna Thakur streamlined the semester system in the university.
