Indore: The Economic Offences Wing ( EOW), on Monday produced a chargesheet in a court against former employee of MP Electricity Distribution Company Narayan Khare and eight others for allegedly developing a colony in violation of rules and forgery.
He has been separately charged in a disproportionate assets case as well. The chargesheet alleged that Khare and others had collected money from members of Veena Nagar Housing Society on the pretext of development.They then sold the land to a builder without getting necessary approval from the competent authority.
Khare had developed Veena Nagar Housing Society for which he bought an agriculture land without registration.Rs 34,000 to Rs 44,000 from each member of the society were collected. Later, Khare allotted plots to his son, who in turn sold the land to a builder.
“ Along with Khare, Nepania sarpanch Vikram Singh Rathore, Ravi Khurana, Prem Patni, Anil Dhandotia, Ankur Arora, Ajay Patni, Sandeep Srivastav and Ritwik Khare and were charged with forgery, preparation of forged documents, criminal conspiracy, cheating and corruption,” special prosecutor of EOW Ashlesh Sharma said. After thorough probe, Khare and others were booked on March 4 and chargesheeted on Monday.
