Indore : The district administration has decided to levy Rs 10 as registration charges in the OPD of Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya Evam Shodh Kendra.

According to sources, a meeting of the working committee of Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya was held under the chair of Divisional Commissioner Sanjay Dubey, on Monday.

Dubey said that the hospital would be revamped to match private hospitals. He said that OPD and Biochemistry Departments would be computerised and liquid oxygen tanks would be installed.

He further said that the garden in the hospital premises would be restored, security guards would be deployed via outsourcing and parking arrangements would also be revamped.

Budgetary provisions of Rs 50000 for furniture repairs, Rs 70000 for stationery, Rs 36000 for emergency use, Rs 1.5 lakh for printing of stationery, honorarium of Rs 48000 for the accountant, Rs 15000 for the CA, honorarium of Rs 60000 for computer operator, and Rs 3 lakh for X-ray films, polythene bags, cleaning and sanitation items etc during the fiscal year 2015-16 were made.

Besides Rs 30 lakh of repair of roof, Rs 50000 for electricity, Rs 5 lakh for computers, networking server, OPD, IPD, Pathology Lab, Biochemistry, Medicine counter, and record department would be spent during the financial year 2015-16.
