Indore: Central Board of Secondary Education conducted economics examination for class XII board students on Wednesday. The paper carried 80 marks and its examination was held from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm. Subject expert Rashmi Panwar said paper was moderately tough for average students. She also said students with analytical bent of mind would score well.
The paper had two sections. Section A – Microeconomics and Section B – Macroeconomics. The questions in both sections were compulsory. However, there were internal choices in some questions. Most students said last question was unexpected and they hadn’t seen it in NCERT book or Sandeep Garg book, recommended for students in most schools. This question didn’t have an option. “The question was a shocker because I don’t remember reading anything pertaining to it. Otherwise, paper was not too difficult and I can hope to score over 60 marks,” student Monu Dadhich said.
