According to Palasia police, around 2.30 am, a car coming from Geeta Bhawan Square and proceeding towards LIG square rammed into the railing of BRTS Corridor at Palasia Square, injuring its two occupants. The injured duo was in highly inebriated state and was rushed to MY Hospital.
The police then proceeded to remove the car from the railing with the help of crane. While the work was going on, another car from the direction of Geeta Bhawan Square came upon the scene.
However, the driver of the car noticed the police, crane and other personnel at the last moment and tried to evade them and in the process rammed into the railings precisely at the same spot where the first mishap occurred. Fortunately, the driver of this car escaped unhurt.
