Indore: A car driver snatched a bag containing cash and valuables from transporter after dashing his vehicle against the rear of the victim’s scooter on Saturday night in Vijay Nagar area. The man fell of his Activa Scooter and sustained injuries and while he was trying to come to grips with the accident, a youth got out of the car and grabbed his bag, got into the car and fled the scene. According to the police, Mahendra Sisodiya (32) of Nyay Nagar was returning home around 11:00 pm and as he passed Life Care Hospital, a speeding car hit his scooter, causing him to fall of the vehicle. His bag was also thrown off in the accident. A youth got out of the car and grabbed his bag, got into the car and fled the scene. The bag contained Rs 5000, credit/debit cards and other important documents. The police have registered the case of loot.
Mobile store clerk thrashed
Four persons beat up a mobile store clerk and ransacked the store. Vijay Nagar police have registered the cases against the accused. According to the police, the incident occurred on Saturday afternoon. One Dharam Chouhan had gone to Reliance Store located in Sayaji Plaza and got into argument with clerk Anand Bansal over phone calls being received by him for non-payment of bills. Chouhan had paid the bill but due to software glitch, payment was not updated. Anand tired to reason with Chouhan, but he lost his temper, called his friends and then beat up Anand demanding his money and damaged a computer in the store.
Bike torched
Arsonists torched a motorcycle parked outside a house. According to the police, the crime occurred in Sanvid Nagar around 2:30 am. Unidentified persons torched the motorcycle belonging to Anand Gawde residing in Gali No 3 and fled the scene. The police also reached the spot but by that time culprits had vanished.
