Sanawad : The eight km long unpaved way reaching to the Samadhi (memorial) was awaiting to be asphalted for around 4 decades. Demanding the road construction, the villagers protested as well. At last, the efforts paid well after the MLA Hitendra Singh Solanki took up the matter in his hands.
After excessive efforts put forth by the MLA, the PWD minister Sartaj Singh performed bhumipujan of the bridge construction worth crores on the occasion of the birth anniversary of late Bajirao Peshwa. There was a temporary bridge on the Bakur River, which was broken after a sand laded truck passed on that. After that, MLA Singh demanded a bridge construction on the River.
The MP Public Bridge Construction Corporation has approved a budget of Rs 3.23 crore for the bridge while approximate 10 months are required for the completion of the bridge. Mohan Pawar, Chajjulal Pawar, Kesarilal and Jagdish said that between village Bhogawa Sipani to Raverkhedi, the eight km road was unmade and the passer bys used to face a great deal of trouble in the rainy season.
