Indore : A six-year-old boy was killed and four others including his younger brother were injured when a speeding car hit their auto-rickshaw they were in.
According to the police, the accident occurred near Bicholi Mardana. Govind Yadav, a resident of Vinoba Nagar had gone to Mhow to attend a family function with his two grandsons–Priyansh alias Uday (6) and Anuj along with two other children.
While returning, a speeding car hit their auto-rickshaw which turned turtle. Priyansh died on the spot while Govind, Anuj and other two children sustained injuries and have been admitted to a nearby hospital.
The police said that one of the bystanders had noted the registration number of the car and based on the number, a search is on for the driver. Meanwhile, a case against unknown driver has been registered for causing death due to negligence.
Priyanshu’s father is employed in private sector and he was a student of private school.
