Black Ribbon Initiative: ADG shares cyber security tips

Indore: The 205th workshop on cyber security under ‘Black Ribbon Initiative,’ conceptualised by Police Radio Training School director ADG Varun Kapoor, was held at Pritamlal Dua Auditorium on Thursday. As many as 63 members of Vaishya Mahasammelan Mahila Unit attended the workshop.

ADG Kapoor explained several aspects of cyber security and how to use technology for benefit, rather than making mistakes. He also shared tips on how to avoid banking frauds, ATM frauds and other cyber related crimes. These apart, he also elaborated on safe use of social networking sites and password protection measures. Later, during an interaction with the participants directly, he satisfied all their questions and concerns regarding cyber crimes.

The members appreciated the workshop as very useful and also hailed the awareness efforts being done by Kapoor.  The event concluded with felicitating Kapoor with appreciation certificate by the members. President of Vaishya Mahasammelan Mahila unit, Meena Janjhari and other office-bearers, including Kumkum Brajwasi, Neha Kanungo and DSP (radio) Subhash Singh were also present at the workshop.
