NAGDA : A ritual of bhumi pujan for the new building of Sarswati Shishu Mandir was performed at Government Colony here on Friday. Union minister for social empowerment Thavarchand Gehlot was the chief guest at the function.
School principal Shashikant Phadke, area MLA Dilip Singh Shekhawat, Alot MLA Jitendra Gehlot, municipality president, Sultan Singh Shekhawat, unit head of Grasim Sunil Shrivastava and Lanxes’ unit head Sanjay Singh were among others present on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion, Gehlot praised the teaching quality of the Saraswati School saying the school emphasises more on the Indian tradition and Indian languages. He said he is not against the English language as it is also necessary in this high-tech era, but our tradition, culture and language also must be saved.
Organising secretary of Saraswati Shishu Mandir (Malwa region) Shashikant Phadeke said that several schools in Germany have started teaching Sanskrit language for four days in a week. RSS district Sangh Chalak CG Mohan, Himmat Singh Jamlia, board president Rajesh Dhakad, Subhash Nagar, Mahendra Bhagat and members of Sikshan Prasar Samiti were also present at the programme.
