Bhoomi pujan of road construction held

Khachrod : Under the series of development works done by the Municipal Council in the city, Bhumi Pujan ceremony of cement-concrete road was organised at Saify Gali of Ward no 14. As decided during the meeting of Beti Bachao Abhiyan, the Bhumi Pujan was done by little girl Jahra d/o Mohammad Ali Bohra. MLA Dilip Singh Shekhawat and Municipal Chairman Vijay Sethi were the Chief Guests of the ceremony. The presidency of the ceremony was done by City’s Aamil Sheikh Joher Bhai Indore Wale.

As noted the first construction of this road was done 48 years ago by the then Municipal Chairman Late Neelkanth Sharma and now the recent construction is getting done by current Chairman Vijay sethi. The Bohra community is very exhilarated about the construction of the road.

After the Bhumi Pujan ceremony, the Bohra community of Ward no 14 felicitated the Chief Guests and City Aalim by giving them shawl, shreefal and garland.

MLA Shekhawat on addressing the ceremony said that he will always look forward for the development of the city.

Municipal Chairman said that Municipal Council is committed to fulfill all the promises of development works it had made to the public of the city. He said that he will try his best to make Khachrod a beautiful and clean city. He also asked public for their collaboration and support for the development of the city.

District Minister Sanjay Mehta, Vice-Chairman Municipality Narayan Sangeetla along with Municipal Councillors and members of Bohra community were present on this occasion. The ceremony was conducted by BJP leader Akhilesh Sharma. And vote of thanks was given by Councillor Mohammad Ali Bohra.
