Indore: Last rites of Madhvi Deshmukh, wife of spiritual leader Bhaiyyu Maharaj, were performed at Meghdoot Crematorium on Sunday. Large numbers of political leaders, officials and followers attended the funeral.
People paid their last respects to the departed soul at the cremation ground.
BJP state unit President Nand Kumar Chouhan, MLA Ramesh Mendola, party corporators, Congress City president Pramod Tandon, son of NCP leader Chagan Bhujbal along with the followers of the seer from state and Maharashtra were present. A condolence meeting was also held.
