Indore: In a setback to nearly 25 BDS final professional students of a private college, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) has found ‘untrue’ their complaints pertaining to inscribing of wrong practical marks on their mark-sheets.
“Some students of a private dental college had lodged a complaint with us that the university mistakenly inscribed wrong marks of their practical exams on mark-sheets. We found the complaints untrue,” said exam controller Ashesh Tiwari.
Students of Modern Dental College had lodged a complaint with the university that the marks of practical exams sent by their institute to the DAVV were different then what appeared in the marksheets.
When the university enquired about it, it found that the claim false. When the students were informed about it, they claimed that their college mistakenly sent wrong marks to the DAVV and it is ready to revise the marks. But the university denied accepting revised marks. The rule is for accepting any revision in practical exam marks before announcement of results. Applications for revision in practical marks, can’t be entertained after declaration of results. The BDS final professional results were announced on March 31.
