Barwani (Madhya Pradesh): Unlock activities will start in the district from June 1 as per government directions.

On Sunday, district collector Shivraj Singh Verma got numbers painted on shops in the urban areas so that rule of opening only 50 per cent shops can be followed in a convenient manner.

Collector Verma said, “In urban areas, shops on both sides of the road have been painted. Shops bearing even numbers will be opened on same date of the calendar. Shops with odd numbers will open accordingly”.

The shop owners have been told get vaccinated and keep its proof at their shops. If people are found operating shops without vaccination, their shops will be sealed for the next 15 days.

Collector Shivraj Singh Verma said, “Any shopkeeper in the district, whether he is operating a permanent shop or selling fruits, vegetables etc on handcart, should be vaccinated on priority basis by accepting them as frontline workers”.

For this, these people will have to give complete information, mobile number, Aadhaar card to area SDM through WhatsApp. On this basis, they will be vaccinated on priority basis.
